Ms.Rowden was appointed Managing Director of Jonathan Rose Companies’ Investment Practice in 2009.  She is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s investment management business, including acquisitions, financing, asset management, and investor relations. She is a member of the firm’s Investment and Management Committees, bringing more than 25 years of institutional real estate experience to her role. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Ms.Rowden served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Rockefeller Group, the U.S. Subsidiary of Mitsubishi Estate Co., one of the largest real estate concerns in the world. Ms.Rowden is past president of WX. She is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Maimonides Medical Center and Safe Space NYC (where she served as Board Chair). She is also a former member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Cushman & Wakefield.  A member of the Urban Land Institute (Women’s Leadership Initiative; Urban Development/Mixed Used Council), the Pension Real Estate Association (Green Building and Sustainability Group) and the Real Estate Board of New York (Economic Development Committee), Ms.Rowden is a frequent featured speaker on smart growth investments and the greening of existing buildings. She holds degrees from Brown University, University of Michigan and New York University.
